This is a bit of a bittersweet post. I was supposed to attend the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament in Stamford, Connecticut this weekend, but unfortunately I came down with COVID. I’m disappointed that the trip is a no-go, but I’m still happy to share this themeless puzzle.
This is one in a series of nine crosswords constructed by Lil AVCX roster members, editors, and alums that uses the ACPT Logo as the grid. The inspiration for this puzzle was reading about 14-Across being added to the Cambridge Dictionary (along with “skibidi,” “tradwife” and 6,000+ other words). Since the entry at 1-Across has a similar letter pattern, I figured I could combine them into a mini puzzle and enter my “old man yells at cloud” era.
